Does anybody know whats in the pipeline so to speak?
What model to superseed N95
Some speculation about an N82 - Mix of N918Gb + N80 and N96 / N97 - N95 with better memory and screen. But I said, Speculation🙄
N95i with twice as much RAM. Larger battery and 802.11abg WLAN.
N82 is official, but all other models are speculation, especially the 8gb N95, which ISNT a model in development they are just using an N95 as a test bed for future products
with a whiz bang screen(oled) and an optical zoom camera.
TV reception/recording ..
speculation .. but wishful thinking😊
1) Large RAM
2) Big Screen
3) Sexy design to kick the stupid iphone's a$$ - COME ON Nokia u can do it.

... you forgot Bluetooth Virtual Reality and time travel. 😃
Whatever it is, tey will have a hard time selling it to me.
I will be back to Windows Mobile ASAP.

I found that OS absolutely gruesome - so phone unfriendly, horribly unintuitive to navigate, unbelievably unconfigurable, absolutely no fun and worst of all, touchscreen <suppresses a gag reflex>.
Why would someone prefer it to Symbian ?
No, seriously.
If we're compiling a wishlist, for the n95 successor I would love to see:
*More free RAM
*Better Battery
*Charging via the MiniUSB port only. Please! I'd love to see Nokia do away with the tiny pin charger for their smartphones, and have an ac charger with miniUSB connection (like Motorola). This would also allowing trickle charge via PC.

I agree with all of those and would add:
* SIRFIII-based GPS
* End calls by closing the slider
Crystal ball is telling me..
Love how you can get larger battery but not make the phone bigger??.. So my
bets are on a hybrid Fuel cell sometime soon.
Nokia has been committed to standardise on their screen size of 320x240 (QVGA) as seen in all the current model range. Yes, this was a drop from the days of the N80/E60 but better than the 3250, but its the only way to conform to industry standardisation and I fully agree with that. The only one that does not is the E90 Communicator in opened mode (which makes sense). Only thing they can do from here is probably 640x480 VGA res there on the phone.
I can see the DVB-H Digital TV standard (like on the N77) becoming more popular, so that might be the next on the agenda. But definitely more RAM and internal memory is the way to go for an upgrade. USB Host Controller will be popular too so that you can eventually plug in HID devices (keyboards, Mice) as well as external media. VGA output will also be useful (through a converter to 15 pin and then displaying it on true 640x480+ resolutions). There may even be some place for RFID to work with newer phones as well as this is proving to be a good interfacing type of technology.
Camera technology will need to improve on the CMOS technologies for increased picture fidility. CCD's will be nice - but aint happening on such a small given area. The Megapixel rating will be ridiculous (8+). In theory, they may also be able to do an optic zoom depending on form factor of the phone. 640x480 capture is must - but at 60 FPS with less jerks and high speed, high capacity SDHC at the back end to write to it all (Class 8 and above)
Lastly, the data throughput needs to be beefed up along with the latest security with it. 802.11n will be there along with 4G standards (WiMax or updated HSDPA/UMTS standards).
But in all, the N95 really is a Benchmark for at least the next two years for any ultraconvergent device for sure..
Lets also hope it heats up the coffee as well as cooking us breakfast in the morning too.. 😊
