If some of you are still struggling with a loose slider, an official Nokia fix has been made available. Both the right hand side rail and the plastic slider underneath will have to be replaced. Visit your local service center and make sure they know what they are talking about, because not all of them care enough to carry these parts.
You can also buy the parts from a service center and replace them yourself. The part numbers are 6400267 and 6400268. If you ask for 3 replacement screws for the rail too, you can do it exactly as good as the service center. Price range $20-30.
