n95 Car Mount

Im looking for any links for good car mounts for the n95, with power etc..

or any links that show DIY Mods they have made themselves

I use one from Proclip USA (Google it) and it's PERFECT.
You buy TWO things from them: the N95 cradle and then the vehicle-specific car mount. This is good for when you switch cars you can just unscrew the cradle from one mount and move it to the new one.
I got the one that includes the vehicle charger so when you slide it into the mount it charges the phone. It's perfect for GPS navigation.
It's on the expensive side but it's very well made.
They use the Brodit cradle for the N95, so if you can find it cheaper elsewhere snag it.

Any idea if it's possible to add audio mute leads etc to enable this set-up as an integrated hands-free unit too?

im using the nokia universal one , hold the fone well but u need to plug the power lead in , as for audio mute , think yer only way around this would be with a bluetooth kit

I am using the Brodit active cradle in conjunction with the Nokia CK20 bluetooth car kit. The combination works extremely well for calling, sat nav, A2DP music streaming etc. Radio mutes automatically and everything. The only annoyance is when using TomTom the radio keeps cutting out for a second before and after each instruction.

Hi, XERXES

Can you confirm me if the Nokia N95 really works fine with CK-20 in A2DP and with the other Bluetooth functions?

Thanks

Has anyone come across a brodit active mount with a molex connector for the N95? I can only find the passive mount or the one with a cigarette lighter adapter. I'd much rather be able to wire it in as its a much cleaner approach. I find with my car that the wire its in the way of the gear stick with the cigarette lighter option.
