not enough ram to update firmware on pc.

Ive been trying all day on a friends computer at work to update my firmware, with no joy.

It kept disconnecting itself etc so we gave up, i have already changed the product code.

I have a pc laptop at home on windows 2000. Im a mac bod i rarely use pc's.

The updater says it needs 256 of ram at least and im sure this laptop only has 130mb ram.

Does this mean i cannot update on this laptop ? help as im not a pc person and am a bit stuck.

Hi Locust1978. Lets start with the computer at work. If you're work place uses a server for the computers it won't allow you to download certain things like you're firmware. As for the laptop, you need to have 256 of ram memory on it or higher (512 of ram). so you cant update until you have enough Ram.
