I want to HARD Format my phone (*#7370# ) but before that have some queries.
My N70ME came with pre-instaled applications like Symantec, Adobe, office, Yahoo and similar such softwares and ofcourse many games.
So, everything that has been installed after the first use of the phone is deleted! It will recover the memory of the phone to the state you purchased it!
Does that means that the above mentioned stuff will remain unaffected that i got with phone?
Also, shall the Mem card reside in the phone during format or is it fine to remove it.
and how long can the format process take.
That's the soft format comand. The hard format is done with the four-finger-bye-bye. If you made a phone backup on the memory card everything will be completely restored. You can leave the memory card during the format, but take it out, just to be sure.

Nope, Soft format=*#7780# )four fingers) and Hard reset=*#7370#,= factory restore.
