Total recall maybe,i don't know,i don't record calls....but thats one i've heard of.

You could just use the "Recorder" app in the Office folder. Load the app, get back to standby and make a call, swap back to recorder and hit record. Records both sides of the call.

thanks :icon14:

Before you pay for any apps of this type, be advised they usually insert a beep every 30 seconds to alert the other caller that they are being recorded.

It's against the law in many countries to record someone without telling them first.

Not in the case of Ultimate Voice Recorder - no beep, very good app..
The ideal would have been Call Recorder Pro which doesn't need to run as a task (just a process) - but it's not been ported to S60-3rd and I don't know that it will.
Occasionally, UVR gets thrown out of memory on the N95 (like a lot of other apps) if you're websurfing.
But it's a great app and I use it all the time.

That's useful to know. Just beware that you may be breaking European law if you record conversations without warning the other caller.

Yeah, I've seen this menacing, unmarked, black car following me around.
Reckon it's Interpol or 6. 😉
A bit tedious - and the blackmail market just ain't what it used to be. 😉

Lol, but seriously he SHOULD mention to the other person that he is recording the call. I mean i take it he is recording it for a reason, being given wrong information or something, for example, banks are good a telling you 1 thing then bloody charging you a fortune when it turns out they told you a pile of crap!! His calls would have no effect in any kind of legal action as he recorded them illegally, without the other persons permission.

soz for the book, but just pointing that out 😊

I just downloaded Ultimate Voice Recorder from Handango and when I try to install it on my N95 I get a message on the phone saying installation is not supported. Why would this be? 😞

Wrong version.

Doh!!

I have just downloaded the proper version. I was too eager. Saw it was for S60 but didn't notice it never mentioned 3rd edition.

The proper one works ok. I have put in for a refund for the other one.

Thanks.
