n95 drm + napster problem

Hi,

Brought an n95 couple of months back and so far im happy with it but i have one small issue i hope somebody may be able to help me with.

I have a napster2go subscription and my n95 worked well with it for a few weeks till i decided to reset my phone (as it was running slowly). Now when i try to transfer music to my phone napster detects it as one of my devices etc then says "transfer error". I phoned napster and they told me to go away as it wasnt a supported device. Was wondering if any of you gurus could tell me what went wrong and/how i may fix it.

Thanks 😊

Hi

I had the same problem after updating the phone software. I decided to reformat my memory card Menu>Tools>Memory>Options>Format Memory Card and then resync to Napster and it works fine now.

Obviously you should backup your memory card before doing this as all content will be lost....

thanks for that worked perfect! can finally use my phone as an mp3 player again 😊

i think you should apply for a job at napster :P

I had to format my n95 also, and was struggling to get Napster to work with it.

Thank you very much!
