FS Caller backup

1 replies · 2,446 views · Started 20 July 2007

Hi,

I still have the first firmware, but since there is another update, I'm going to update my firmware in a few days.

Now the biggest question:
- Does anybody have a method of backing up FS Caller settings? I spent over an hour copying the pictures to all the contacts, so I'd like to backup a configuration file or something, so I don't have to reconfigure FSCaller all again.

Other questions:
- Same question for Best Safe

- How do I backup the T9 dictinionary i've build up ("add to dictionary" words)

- Can I backup categorie settings of papyrus?

As long as you installed the application and pics to the Memory Card and not to the internal phone memory, you should not lose the config settings after FW upgrade.

The T9 custom dictionary will be lost after the Flashing process. You could use the PC Suite backup and restore tools, but this is not recommended after a Firmware change. Just accept that you will need to re-enter all your custom words manually.
