I have one, and its definatly route66, preinstalled. The maps you get depend on where you get it from. I had to get mine from another country, so I had to buy my maps (rather I didnt now grrr). Ive no idea where you saw that it said it had tomtom installed.
Tomtom only works on the N95 -even thought its not offically supported- if you use a bluetooth GPS, will not work with the internal one.
Route66 is NOT transferable from the 6110 to anything else. This is due to it being built into the 6110 navigator. As you can see from another thread on here, people have got it to work, but its an older version, which doesnt support 7 digit postcode entry.
After using route66 a lot in direct comparision with tomtom 5 (which is older), I think route66 is AWFUL.
Others say its not so bad, but I have found that although the maps seem fine, the routing can often be bad, and I mean bad.
Co-pilot works with the internal GPS on the N95, but is expensive, and I cant actually find many reviews on how good it is.
Myself, Im waiting for Navigon to release a version that will support the N95 and 6110. They say its due in august or september. If it stays the same as the current price, its around £80-£90 for all of europe which is a damn sight better than any other satnav.
I would use tomtom, but their customer support is utterly dire, and refuse to answer anyones questions on when (or even if) support for the N95 and 6110 will come out.
So if you want a decent satnav for the car, either get copilot (and let us know how it goes!) or play the waiting game.
