Hello Everyone 😃
I come from Taiwan, And first time post.. Poor english..Sorry

I have one problem...Please give me a hand
Nokia Taiwan doesn't E90 on market. 😡
So I must purchase it from U.K.

Problem 1: U.K model display Traditional Chinese correct (Web,Email,SMS,MMS,Content,Calendar,System Configure)?

Problem 2: If problem 1 is false... Can I modify CODE by NSU, And Take asia(Hong Kong, Singapore) firmware?
I gauss it can display Chinese.

Thanks very much..

Hi epopen,

I am also living in Taiwan 😊 (although not from Taiwan).

Here are some answers:
- problem 1: no unfortunately UK E90 model won't support Chinese, not even in the browser (website in mandarin) 😞 I bought my E90 tax-free in Finland as well as another for a Taiwanese colleague and he has the same problem.

- problem 2: yes you should be able to update the firmware with either HK or Singapore version. I am planning to do it for my colleague's E90. So I'll test it and report more here.
Basically it is not official way as you have to change the product code before doing the SW update via the official NSU. Note that changing the product code will break your warranty (although you can just change the product code back to recover it, I think).
The thing I still want to check are the possible changes in keyboard mapping between European versions and HK/Singapore ones.

Will give you more information soon...
