When I select the full screen option in Realplayer I notice that the software does not utilize the full screen display, it takes off from the sides top and bottom.
Did anybody notice the same?
Ofcourse this wasn't an issue with all the n-devices I own.
Is there an application that does size to complete full screen?
thanks in advance for feedback

What size/resolution is the original video? It won't scale up lower res videos, the full-screen option is to take off the standard S60 title and status bars etc.

Ok. I believe I just tested the video camera, when playing pack the recorded vid I noticed the video is not 'ful'screen ' but with black bars. So if I record with high resolution palyback would be full screen?
I use my PDA extensively for playing video, but I havent checked yet how the e61i plays converted AVI in 3gp format (using Super@). I fear that it wont full scale then if recorded cam vids dont full scale
I know the n95 didnt have any problems re-sizing vids to full screen for any resolution.
In addition, I notice the e61i is a real business model where Nokia just takes offf the Multimedia edge in comparison to the N-series. Gallery application for example is simplified, no slideshow option, etc, skin options are mediocre
As I always enjoy the multimedia aspectI think it is a waste of such a nice screen not to be able to take full advantage of it
I should have known this when I purchased the device though......its for the business user
If I send a video recorded on my N73 to my e61 it doesnt play fullscreen either, black bars on the sides, this is because the aspect ratio or the video is not the same as the aspect ratio of the screen. It views the exact same on the N73, black bars on the left and right, so not all N series phones view fullscreen either if the aspect ratio is wrong.
I download a daily video podcast to my e61 called MobuzzTV, this uses a video size of 320x240 and looks great fullscreen in realplayer, no black bars at all. So it all depends on the aspect ratio of the video source as to if it will view full screen or not.

I beg to differ, full-screen works as expected on my E70, ie it scales up a eg 176x144 video to fill the screen - subject to aspect ratio. Of course it means you have to rotate the phone 90 degrees.
Yeah noticed in video recordings from phone its got those black bars on it but on video clips i have downloaded and converted(320*240) its full screen no black bars
