Nokia handset gets very hot after a few minutes.

I have just got the new Nokia 6120 classic.

After just a few minutes use the screen becomes very hot, this then makes my ear hot and it does feel safe to use.

Can anyone advise why this would happen, has it happened with other Nokia handsets and what should I do.

This isn't normal. Take it back to the shop and get it swapped out.

Its normal for a phone to get a little warm on battery side after heavy battery drain ie movies on phone. But not hot on front side. Could possibly be defect
