How to delete local folders

Hi. I hope you can help me. I can't seem to find a way to delete local message folders I've created. I have searced the net and came up with the oxygen software which can manage the folders in messages. Is there any other way to do this (delete the local folder) with syncing my phone to the PC. I don't have a PC I use a Mac. Is there anyway to do this using just the phone?

In flip open mode;

- open messaging
- tap on Messages
- tap on the drop-down arrow in the top right of the screen
- tap on edit folders
- tap the folder you want to delete and select delete from the buttons that appear.

Adam

Thanks for the reply. The reason I couldn't find it is because I changed my theme and the theme I was using did not show the arrow for the drop down menu on the right.
