Sms messaging overload

Hi, I have a problem with my messaging account. I did not erase any of my sms, instead I have put them in a archive folder i created. It seems however it overloaded and now when i try to access the folder i get a message saying "out of memory". On top of that, i now can have only 7 messages in my inbox and sent items folder.

Can someone help me? Is there some sort of program which can access these messages from the computer? I really don't want to format it, but if there is no other choice...

Also i have install a software in the mobile, which it suppose to convert my sms to txt files, but it also went out of memory!

I appreciate any help!
