Frustrations using this site with N95 S60 browser.

when I try to use this site with my N95 I notice two issues that prevent me posting.

1. The captcha image when searching does not display at all on N95.

2. I cannot login. I suspect this is due to a cookie issue but after the site
has redirected me after login it will then lose the fact that it's logged in. I suspect the urls aren't right in the cookies at least for the N95's browser.

Make sure cookies are allowed in browser settings security.

Yes they are set to "allow"

so it's still not working even when these are set.

no thoughts on why captcha images don't display then?

I was preparing a list of links to put in a HTML file and upload to be my portal, when browsing from my phone, and am glad you posted this before I discovered it for myself :icon14:

I think esato and some other sites have lightweight forums and was wondering if AAS has anything similar as well as a solution to steffi's problem.

The actual login cookies look correct so I'm not sure why the series 60 browser is having trouble with this. Secondly I still don't know why those captcha images refuse to display also. Trying doing a search and you're suppose to enter a captcha but the image doesn't display.

I don't know if using another browser is an option for you but the opera mini browser works (posting this using beta 4). Captcha images also appear. There is a disclaimer at the bottom me the opera mini beta 4 download page saying that end to end security isn't available as in version 3.1. I'm off to get that now 😊

Hi all
Sorry but i really don't get any of the problems you are mentioning. I am useing my N95 to post this reply now over WiFi & everything is exactly the same as on my laptop includeing all pictures.

same here. As far as the log-in goes try going to your bookmark and press options>bookmark manager>edit . Then you can store your log-in details in the bookmark. Good if you want to clear your user data because that info will be saved.

I had a similar problem with the Facebook mobile site, ie, it would connect but kept bouncing me back out to the login screen.

Turned out it wasn't a cookie issue but the access point I was using. In my case, connecting through Vofafone WAP caused the problem, but using Vodafone GPRS or WiFi access points works fine.

i'm using AIS mobile life package with "internet" here in Bangkok. I definately see the Thank you for logging in page and then when it redirects it loses all the login informaton.. Very strange.

Surely that's Basic Authentication related data and not the actual data for needed to login to the site. The data is specific to the forums software being used.
