ViewRanger extends mapping to Finland

Augmentra, the developers of the off-road GPS enabled navigation and tracking software ViewRanger, have announced they have extended their mapping coverage to Finland. Initial products include mapping at 1:50,000 for the Helsinki metropolitan area, Southern Finland and the Central Saimaa Lake District with more to follow.

Don�t use maps2go on N93 from Tampere to (Kerma)Saimaa. Bt drained in about 3-3.5 hours. I got to Jyvaskyla then asked directions.

I hope this app uses less power!

If you're driving with a sat nav phone, plug it into the cigarette lighter. The adaptor costs about 10 euros and charges your phone throughout the journey, and means you can drive for as long as you like.
