did that, but it seems like it didn't changed at all cuz when i get an sms i hear the default melody!!!

Off-topic, but worth noting: Your SMS alerts will play at full volume, not the current volume setting of the phone. This was somewhat annoying since I had to go ahead and load up Audacity to change the volume of my .wav because people at work began to complain.
