Message Centre Number and SMS

Hi,

I am sure you have had questions like this before but I cant seem to find any.

When I come to send a text message I get a prompt asking for the message centre number. I have found the 3 message centre number and my messages send fine, but I am having to type this number in each time. I've tried going into settings but whenever I select "Message Centres" I get a pop-up telling me "Text Message service disabled. No message centres available on current SIM". Isn't there anyway I can save the number so I dont have to keep putting it in each time or is it something wrong with my SIM?

Many Thanks in advance.

You can't add a new message center entry (Messagin > Options > Settings > Text message > Message centres > Options > New message centre)?

If not, you could ask your network operator for a new SIM card with the number defined/set properly.

Well when I get to message centres I get the options of, "Open" "Help" or "Exit". By clicking help it tells me how to add message centre numbers in the way you have explained yet i only get those 3 options. If I select Open, it then comes up with the message I explained about in my first post. I'll have to contact the provider.

Thanks for your help
