N80 software updater problem

Hi,

I just have installed Nokia Software Updater for N80 Internet Edition.

I followed the instructions, The firmware version of my N80 were going to change from 4.0632.0.38 to 5.0719.0.2.

Almost at the end of the process, I had to take out the battery, then disconnect the usb cable, after that put the battery, turn on the phone and connect the usb cable.....

But, at this time.... the phone didnt start up....

I am really worry because even though I tried to charge the battery, the phone doesnt turn on any led.... Is now a dead phone....

Please help me with some advices.....

WHY HAVE YOU REMOVED BATTERY AND USB CABLE??
Were you using NSU???

I never had to do such thing... I should not turn off or disconnect usb cable while flashing!

I did it because the NSU program sent me a message in order to do that.... I did exactly what the sw told me....

Please, don't misunderstand me. I'm only surprise about NSU asking this.
I'm not blaming you, sorry.

Have you tried Phoenix?
I know some people that used it to bring dead N80 to life again.
Connect your N80 to charger while trying to connect your N80 using USB cable and Phoenix.
I don't know very well the process... try to find here in forum.

Good look!! Tell us if you succeed.

yeah, Ive never seen NSU tell you to remove the battery / cable?

Is this a new thing? Has anyone else seen/experienced this???

It is ok, I didnt try phoenix...
I went to a "generic" service center... because here in south america.... there isnt any "official" nokia service center.....
I hope to have a solution for tomorrow, this people couldnt certainly tell me that they can bring my phone to live....However they are going to try....
This people told me that they can repair my phone only if the security codes were not deleted...I dont about that... Please tell me if someone knows....
If I can get my phone fixed for tomorrow Im going to try phoenix.... I have to learn about that tool.....maybe is better than this Nokia Software Updater
