Hi there,
When connected to a Windows XP notebook, I tried everything I could remember, but cant use 9210 as an InfraRed modem.
The best I can get is 9600 bits through a serial cable.
No high-speed connection possible so far.
Is this correct or Im doing something wrong?
Sync also doesnt work.
Local NOKIA support told me, Nokia mobiles are not compatible with XP.
Thanks and regards,
R M Cruz
NOKIA 9210 MODEM / WINDOWS XP
heeeeeeey
i got the same problem sir
plz any body can help in this mattar and thanks in advance
hi,
I am using the modem with serial cable on IBM t 21 notebook. It works fine with HSCD-28,800 kbs. Your GSM provider should support HSCD and enable it for you. After this, is quite simple - you have a lot of variants for the drivers - 9,600, 14......,
Concerning the IR - with PC suite it works(the last version) but, for the modem no chance.
hope it helps,
dorin

BUT is it on Windows XP ?
Everyone hates this advice, but format and get rid of XP, it's the worst OS to come out of Redmond since Xenix.
