Help with software upgrade

I have been trying to upgrade to the latest 12.0.013 software via the nokia site. I have downloaded the software updating programe, but when I try and run it for the first time it starts the windows installer and then comes up with the message. 'minimum memory requirements is 256kb' and then clicking on OK, it then says nothing has been updated, and to try again. Have tried with phone conected (via USB lead) or disconnected. I am assuming this is a windows type error, any ideas?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (SymbianOS/9.2; U; Series60/3.1 NokiaN95/12.0.013; Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 ) AppleWebKit/413 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/413)

...256kb...?? Sure it must be 256MB... Which seams to be minimum requirements of RAM by NSU in Windows to run the updater. E.g. Got nothing to do with cable or such.

Apologies, it does ask for 256 MB, however the pc has 21 GB spare on the hard drive. But I assume it is talking about virtual or RAM. I have made sure the settings in windows give both of these as much as they like, however the pc only has 224 mb of actual RAM. Anyway of increasing this ie use some of the hard drive as a temporary RAM?

No, it doesn't work like that. I suggest you upgrade the amount of RAM on your computer - it's pretty cheap these days and will give you a good all-round performance increase.
