E65 Software (sis or jar)

I have just recently got myself an e65, I also have an N73.

Can anyone tell me why, when I select either of those phone models when trying to download software, (sometimes) I receive .sis files which (almost) never work I can only ever access .jar files...why?

I select the correct models, I've tried selecting s60 v2 & v3 phones. All information I read about these phones states that they are "s60" phones or "Symbian" phones but I can (almost) never get .sis files to work...any help, plz, plz, plz...:con?

Wirelessly posted (Sony Ericsson M600i: Opera/9.50 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/4.0.8462/20; U; en))

You have to be sure that the file your downloading (.Sis ,.Sisx) iscompatible with s60v3 phones .(If its not compatible it will show something like ''this application is not supported)

.Another thing is that if its an s60v3 software your installing you will need to switch off tempoarily your sis installer security feature.
You can do this by going to the 'application manager' ,click 'options',click 'settings'
now change the 'sis installation field' to ''all'' and the 'online certificate check' to ''off''.

Now trying installing the s60v3 software you want.

Does this solve your problem??
