would anyone buy this for your N95--super battery!!
would I buy that thing .. anything that requires me to physically alter the appearance / weight structural integrity of my phone will not be a starter.
besides I get plenty of life from my battery as it is.😊
Bah! The original battery is 950mAh, I would expect a battery of 1400mAh to be only 50% bigger, not over twice as large as the original... but this is good news, hopefully they will be able to pack 1900mAh into something similar to that, then I would certainly get one as spare.
Agreed - wait a bit longer to see if they bring out a better one. Would be great for long flights etc.
Would I buy this...?!?!? My godness, NO NEVER (what is it, a pregnant N95???).
Reminds me to much of the early 90's and Motorolas ULTRA power and thick batteries.
This was so ugly....
And not when the OP's only 2 posts are auctions that point to the same Ebay seller
Anyone get the distinct idea that were being spamed ?
yup, can the spam.
but aside from that, the battery is ridiculous!!! Please also see my auction for power inverter and countrywide access to the national grid for mobile charging :P
I think this guy is making a mistake advertising this battery on here as it's more likely to be rubbished than it is to be praised.
From personal experience all none brand name batteries for phones are crap, this appears to be a no name battery from China, something that really doesn't instil any confidence in it. Neither does the fact yoobao.com as printed on the battery doesn't exist.
I strongly suspect that this battery will only offer a performance benefit for a month or so if that before it starts deteriorating to less than the level of a genuine Nokia battery. Also I suspect it's more likely to leak, in that event if would invalidate the phone warrenty.
As for looks, don't go there. I would only ever use something like that if in my car or using it to take photos. It's fugly!
Not looking good really is it?!

ROTFLMAO - what a wonderful word, fugly, must remember that for future use. Totally agree with everything else you said.
Never buy a replacement battery on eBay unless you are 100% sure it's a genuine Nokia battery (most ebay Nokia batteries are fakes and, if it's selling for under £10 it's almost certainly a chinese fake) or if its been manufactured with Nokia's agreement by a well known and trusted brand name. (I was going to suggest Sony as an example, but considering last year's exploding laptops problems, perhaps not!)
No.
By careful settings of options etc I am now getting 2-3 days standby time in normal use and that is with using music, photos etc so I don't feel that the battery is that much of a problem anymore.
Have a look at the E90's battery.

Compact and lightweight, this 1500 mAh Li-Polymer battery provides long-lasting power for your mobile phone.
Not the N95 I know, but I bet its total size isnt much bigger than the N95s battery.
Just goes to show that its entirely possible to make a battery with much higher capacity for the N95, and Im sure it would sell very well.
Of course, that would open nokia to critisim as to why didnt they release it with that battery, which they may not want.
