n70 backed up contacts on pc-> N95 phone

Hi there!

I am trying to get my contacts etc copied from my N70 to my new N95..... the problem is I left my N70 at a friends place and they won't be back for 3 weeks!

I have everything on my N70 backed up to my laptop, but when I try to connect the N95 via cable using the N70 version of PC suite it seems to just hang....

(windows does recognise it, but then tries to find drivers, which I can't seem to find on the new CD which came with the N95 version of PC suite)

I'm worried that if I replace the N70 version of pc suite with the new N95 one then any backed up data from the old phone will be lost...

I only actually need a few phone numbers (the rest can wait for three weeks)
is there a way to view your 'backed up' contacts on the PC? (I have tried using the contacts editor in PC suite and this did not seem to work...)

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Cara

Im pretty sure the backup files are seperate, as IIRC you are given the choice of saving it to wherever you want. If I remember, I'll look when I get home, as I may have saved it in the default place.

If thats the case, you should be able to make a backup of this file somewhere else, and then upgrade the PC suite.
