do i need to install any map to Copilot. because it take time to get the current location?? Now i tried to satndy away from the building and tried, but it took more than 10 - 125 mins.

what is the reason for this, is it because it dosent have the map in it or weak signal??

any 1 got any idea????

The little sat signal should tell you if its locked or not.

How did you get copilot? Did it come preinstalled on a card?

Do you have trouble getting a lock with any other GPS software (nokia maps for example)?

i didnt do any thig, i got it with the phone (N95 with co-pilot) all i did it insert the menory in it and activate it. it works once i tried 10 away from my home , but now its not working.. i mean take time to connect,

do i have to do any aditional setp to get the map in it..... what i feel it is look for the current location on the map... (i guess) any idea?

There should be a little satellite icon which says if your locked on or not. I doubt its an issue with maps, because if you got it once and it was showing the correct area, then they should be fine.

As far as I know, you cannot have part of a country instead of all of it.

Look for the satellite icon. Also, somewhere in the menu you can get the GPS data up (how many satellites it can currently find, etc). Sadly I cannot help as to where because I have just got rid of mine and didnt use for long.

There should be another map application on there somewhere as its an N95. Im sure someone can help you with that one. That would be a good test to do to see if the GPS is working. I have heard stories of some N95s seemingly poorer than others at getting a lock.
