N73+Bluetooth headset = lot of noise?!?

I just bought a Nokia N73 Internet Edition
It has the latest Music Edition Firmware 4.0727.2.2.1) because I wanted French language and IE has English and Chinese only.

The phone works fine except for one thing... when I use a bluetooth headset, I get a lot of noise/static if the phone is more than 2-3 feet away from the headset... I tried a least 10 differents headsets (nokia bh-800, bh-301, motorola H700, Jabra JX10, Jawbone, Samsung Wep200....) and they all have the same problem. The best so for is the Blueant V12... but like other headsets, I get a lot of noise...
I do not want to listen to music... I just want to talk with my bluetooth headset...

Is it possible that the firmware I am using is not 100% compatible with my phone? Or it's more a problem with the bluetooth "chip" inside the phone?

by they way, my phone is a RM133 device, Model N73-1... original product code is 0545012

thank you

I tried to reflash with the same firmware version... same problem...
can you use your headset more than 2-3 feet away from your phone? what range do you get?
