This site is very trustworthy and to me this looks like a genuine solution.
Although for 50 and the hassle of opening up your phone it would probably be easier and cheaper to get it done by the network.

Hi SRW985, I've dealt with that site before and they are pretty good. 50 seems a little steep for unlocking the phone unless your planning on doing a whole load of N95s. I'm on Orange and I had my phone unlocked by Orange direct for 20 and it was unlocked within 48hours!

I paid 15 to a company in north west london and they did it in 10min for me, very friendly people, was totaly locked out as well, even the unlock code wouldnt have worked, but they had the tools to do it

Ah, it is possible to get N95s unlocked by third parties then? I thought that no-one had found out how to do it.

It looks like it can be done, but its a bit involved. No-one's found out how to generate the codes yet, it seems, just a way of bypassing the system with electronics.

Talked to a trader about this very subject just today!
There is an unlock box called J.A.F. which you should be able to find with a google (there may be others).
The important thing that he told me is that the phone has to be taken apart, the ribbon cable to the display removed and a plug to the box inserted!
I don't think I would trust anyone to undertake this for me!
He also said it was version particular and if done wrong there was consequences that he warm't prepared to stand!
Caveat emptor!

When i had mine done it was totaly locked and he didnt pull mine apart like u just said... 5...10min tops! no one can pull a phone apart that fast and i was watchin him, and he only seemed to take a new parts off

Unlocking a mobile phone using unlock code is the safest method when compared with other unlocking methods. A Nokia N95 too can be unlocked using unlock code. An unlock code for a Nokia N95 can be obtained from www.unlock-zone.com/nokia-n95/rs16wp9/ at low cost with easy unlocking instructions.
