Unable to view sms messages

Hi,
Can anybody help with my problem as I am unable to read text messages - the screen displays the following:
Application Closed
Application Messaging
Reason Code USER
Reason Number 130

I had this problem after opening a wap push spam message. Had to reset my phone as whilst they were in the list I couldn't open any others and I couldn't delete them either.
No delete all push messages unless I can see who they originate from - which is probably a sensible rule anyhow!

Thanks for the response - The problem seemed to disappear on its own according to my son but I think it was after he deleted some old messages.
