thanks 😊

Most Nokia phones support mp3 as ringtones so I just choose and edit one that I like and use that.
sorry, i forgot to mention that i am after ringtones without vocals ... something just "cool" like once I heard a sound like a guy whistling for a cab in NYC. That was for when an SMS arrived  :icon14:

lol i suppose its one of those things you had to be there for. was in a lecture and everyone looked around and laughed. was quite realistic (none of that cheap tacky stuff)
trust me ... it was cool !!
if you look for a wav editor (and also get a mp3 lame file or somethin similar so you can import and export mp3s... im thinkin of audacity which is a good basic wav editor thingy) you could just find songs you like and cut them so you get the good bits (cos most my mp3s make rubbish ringtones due to an intro or not gettin to the good bits quick enough)
other than that... dunno, my friends get odd ones off their friends who get em off their friends who get em somewhere... like this one my mate has which is the "tsst" of a can openin for a camera shutter/message tone... or the worms "incoming" shout...
just look for wavs and that on tinternet... just go google mad
I just load up an MP3 in Audacity on my Macbook Pro and trim it down to the section I want and copy-n-paste that over and over if it's too short.
Export to MP3, then browse the phone over BT to dump it on my micro-SD card.
good advice guys.
thanks will try that.
i know where you can get that tone! on your phone go to wap then look for noka downloads it might already be in bookmarks and it's there under tones:tongue:
