6120 Frustration

Hi,

Just got 6120 (on 3 UK) moving from a 3250 and and totally frustrated with the music player.

I have found the following (I have a 1gb Card).
Uploaded 100+ MP3's via WMP, opened Music Player and when I select a track it takes 10+ seconds to start playing. Then if I advance a track it again pauses for 10+ seconds.

Also I formatted the card (via the Phone) and on opening the Music Player, the MP froze, although I could bring up Task switcher and select Standby but I could not get the MP to Close by pressing "C".

Also does anyone know how to turn off the 3G? I have changed the Packet Data to When Needed instead of When Available. I have found that the battery lasted about a day of playing with things, but nothing to heavy.

Any one else had the MP problems? I have no idea which Firmware it is on the phone, I am not sure how to tell.

Just to say on a positive, that the form factor is excellent.

Cheers

"Dialing" *#0000# will tell you the firmware version.

You can disable 3G in the "Settings" app (under "Phone" and then "Network" and there change "Network mode" to "GSM"😉.
