It's pretty much what I've been doing, I've used the N95 as my primary camera and viewing on the TV in the evenings. The network was pretty much covered everywhere with TMobile Web n Walk. I kept up with all email, a friend sent a pic through of his new baby on the day it was born and I did my postcards by sending pictures back to family and friends by email.

I got around with help from the GPS, and browsed news on the beach.

I was worried about sand getting in the slide mechanism or the camera lens cover. It wasn't a problem, although I did take care.

I've replaced my Nokia battery with a non-Nokia one from MobyMemory, cost 5.99 (about 10 euro?). It was a difficult fit, had to force it in onto the contacts, but I now find I am going 48 hours between charges (down to about 3 bars). Previously with the Nokia battery it was 24-36 hours. I bought it as a spare, I only meant to use it to try it out, now it is my permanent battery.
