I had recommended the service to the forum earlier, as this is uniquely a collection of services that enable mobility. I felt it is worthwhile my time to write a mini review here so others can benefit. Especially when the service is now free for a few months (final charges are not finalized yet).
Pfingo has several services i.e. Active, Mail, Talk. This mini review covers ]Pfingo ACTIVE service.
The client itself based on Java so it works in S60, S60v3 and S80 phones. It may also work in other platforms but I did not try this. It did quite a good job in adapting to screen resolutions. The following is based on E90 internal screen.
Email
Pfingo ACTIVE offers push mail services for up to 5 mailboxes over POP3 connection including one from pfingo.com. Upon sign-up you'd get a free web-based pfingo.com email account with 400MB storage.
If there are mailboxes that do not support POP3 connection or exceed more than 5 mailboxes, you can always configure forwarding to one of the configured email e.g. your Gmail or pfingo.com.
In pfingo mailbox, all mailboxes are combined into one folder although when you reply/compose email, it'll retain the email account it was sent to. In a way this is quite convinient compared to one for each in Blackberry connect client. Everything is confined into the software itself. Similar to Blackberry, it push the first 2KB of each messages and will pull email from POP3 servers every 15 minutes.
News
The client also has a tab for RSS feed that you can add from the website. There are several pre-defined RSS feeds that you can enable.
Stocks
There are stocks monitor that updates once a while. Again you can add more stocks from the website.
Contacts
Contacts can be imported via the website or through the mobile phone. There is a detailed documentation or how-to on this.
Chat
The client support multiple IM session from Google Talk and MSN. So you can add as many account you want. The first time you do this should be from the website, subsequently, you can add from the phone itself.
File storage
Each account is give 100MB storage which you can upload and retrieve as necessary. There is a feature to navigate the folder inside the client.
Webcam
One cool feature is the ability to see your webcam at your home/office from the client. There is desktop client to be installed in your computer and the webcam has to be connected to the computer. Once setup, you can view the webcam from the phone.
Calendar
While users can't import the calendar from their phone, they can either entered it manually over the web page or the phone. There is a documentation provided on how to import existing calendar e.g. outlook to the web.
Task
(removed to due 10 images limitation)
Similar to Google, Yahoo and Hotmail services, the web page access allows you to have complete view on the calendar, tasks, contacts, email, etc.
Conclusion
I had registered to the service a couple month back but did not extensively use it due to limited available time. Now that I have recently tried it, this is by far the most complete 'mobilty' suite I have encountered. In the past, I would use separate email, RSS, Instant Messaging, PIM client. With Pfingo ACTIVE everything is now within a half-megabyte java client.
The service will be commercial but no users are being charged now until full launch. New accounts will have access at least for 6 months free. You will also get some credits for making IDD call (similar to skypeout) and SMS from their PfingoTALK service.
New features: "SkypeIn"-like feature, Fax
If you want to register for the service, please use the following link:

The review is based on what I observed and to provide introduction to the service. It is not meant to 'sell' it more than it should/can do.
This should really belong in several forums. Admins, please move/copy/pin this article over appropiate forums. Thanks
