Anybody can make a ranking about memory behavior of E series devices?
Is when we need most applications open, that the memory limitation of devices cames to mind. Is sad, need to reboot all the time the phones to free more memory!
I think that E series have better memory manager then N80 or N95, both very bad.
Thanks.

There is no need for any ranking. So far the only S60v3 phones that have a decent amount of memory are the E90 and the N76. All the rest have inadequate amounts of memory.

If my E70 is anything to go by I think the E-series are just as bad.

My E70's RAM sucks. If I want to listen some music while websurfing, the player gets a bullet right between the eyes. I cannot say anymore that I have a multitasking device.

So the best ones for these days are E90 and E61i! Anybody can confirm that on day - to - day basis of work?
Both are multitasking phones?
Because N80 and N95 also sucks with RAM behavior (not to talk about battery, not anymore...).

Well, I can't say that I'm having troubles with my E61 (not i) when it comes to multitasking.

I've never tried to browse the web while listening to music but a little while ago, while I was on hold with some call center, I decided to do a bit of browsing while waiting for somebody to answer. So I switched to loudspeaker mode so that I could hear the lovely music their were playing, switched to Opera Mobile and started to browse over wifi. I had 3 web pages opened when I receieved a text from a friend. Switched to messaging, saw that she asked me to check something online (she doesn't have internet access at home) so I switched back to Opera Mobile, found what she was looking for, switched back to Messaging and sent her a text back (all that while my call was on hold). Then back to Opera Mobile and I continued browsing for a few minutes until someone answered on the line at which point I switched back to phone mode, disabled the loudspeaker and started to talk. Everything worked flawlessly. The phone didn't even freeze for a second while I was doing all these switching back and forth between the call on hold, Opera Mobile and Messaging. I'm kind of happy with this phone, can't complain.

I think E90 is the best when it comes to multitasking. 80 MB of RAM are more than enough. To be a little bit more detailed, my browser kills the music player only after some time. I can listen music while surfing only for a short while, around half an hour. Browsing using WiFi during phone calls also worked without problems.

So, E61 (maybe also i) can do multitasking. Great to know!
