E61 Hidden VOIP settings

Need to change hidden VOIP settings.

Specifically :-

Whether to generate DTMF in-band signalling
Speech codec selection, order.

Anybody know how I can achieve this?

I think it may be simplier to use on your phone third-party VoIP SIP client like Fring or others. List here.

Agree. The best way and reliable is with Fring.

I have tried Fring, whilst its a nice voip client it dosn't solve my problem unless you know something I dont.

I am trying to connect through a Voip to PSTN gateway at my home, for this I need to send DTMF tones which is the part I was having trouble with using the Nokia client.

Fring dosn't support DTMF at all does it?

What's your VoIP gateway? I use a Sipura and had no trouble with the DTMF...
