Guest writer Ricky Cadden's been itching to do this for a while - so we said go ahead. In this detailed head to head, he compares the two top commercial instant messaging clients, IM+ and Agile Messenger. They're closely matched, but one package pulls ahead at the end by virtue of keeping Ricky informed better even when it's in the background.

Read on in the full article.

the best IM client is the proper windows live msn client!

Thank you for the comparison. I find these articles that compare software very helpful, thanks again 😊

While reading the article I got more and more convinced to get Agile until I saw it doesn't support hyperlinks in the chat window!!! How stupid... it's very often you receive links from your buddies.

I'll stay with Fring for now (which unfortunately doesn't support hyperlinks either). They just added ICQ to their services so it's a really nice piece of software... and IT'S FREE!

I agree. I am pretty happy with fring too. And it allows me to make VoIP calls. The only regret is that it does not have yahoo yet... But hopefully it should be there soon. I just hope it does not go the agile way i.e. keep adding services and then one day declare that they will now be charging for using the software 😉

I have a sheet/doc/pdf... and I want it to be placed on the root desk screen. How do I do it?

a bit out of subject...
can anyone give me a hint on how to find out about the ram usage of any of the applications on my s60 3rd phone? I have y-task running, but maybe it is too hard for me to read...
