I have been stressing at my phone all day. I tried to play a music video I converted, so went to gallery, and there was no video files on my memory card.
thought I had messed up and unplugged cable before disconnecting (copied it over in mass-storage mode). So I took my memory card out, turned phone off & on again, put card back in, still no movie clips. So I tried going through apps manager, found my movie clips and they played fine, except they were still not showing in gallery. tried backing everything up, formatting mem card, then put everything back. Finally fixed problem, but had to reinstall firmware 11.0.026 before it started working again. I know this is a long post, just thought I would put it out there in case anybody else had same problem
Problem finding movies in gallery
As long as they are stored in folder "Videos" (...and NOT "My Videos"😉 they should appear in gallery (as well as if they are stored on root dir).
always had them in videos, NOT my videos, always been able to play them in gallery no probs, until yesterday
