Protected system files and folders

Is there any way to view all the files and folders in the phone memory including all the protected system folders and edit the files in the folders? I need to transfer all my messages that is currently in my memory card to the phone memory. Or is there any other way to transfer my messages???

There are no file managers that can access the protected directories on the phone.

Tried in "Messaging" simply changing the "Memory in use" setting from memory card to phone memory?

Already tried that.. The "Copy all messages to the new memory" prompt does not come out. Anyone has other ideas??
