Hotmail on your mobile - singlepoint customers only!!

2 replies · 3,020 views · Started 16 January 2003

Included with my phone bill month was an advert for a new mobile hotmail service.

Singlepoint customers can sign up and when they do they specify who's mail they want forwarding to their phone when it arrives. they can then reply to these emails.

The messages are sent via sms, so this is open to all singlepoint customers regardless of phone, and are charged at normal rate. the replies are also sent via sms.

Hope this is of interest guys, this may be in the wrong section, if so sorry 😮ops:

Errrr.... correct me if I'm wrong but you can also check your hotmail account through http://mobile.msn.com via GPRS which is a cheaper alternative.

In Australia, we also have Hotmail availble through SMS, but it's quite expensive being 25c per message, meanwhile GPRS is 1.5c per Kb. Oh well... whatever tickles your fancy I guess.

i hate single point, after being with them for 2 months, i started a new contract as it was soooo crap 😊 totally off topic i know
