If your phone is new, MMS may not have been provisioned on your account yet, or the MMS access point may not be set up correctly. Try having the settings sent to your phone from the nokia website.
Also, I know that on o2 online, they only provision it after you phone them, so it may be a similar situation with voda.
That said, when it still didn't work, they did de-provision and then re-provision it, and it finally made it work, so its probably best to persevere.
