Kingston MMCM 1GB

hello I have an N-Gage QD and the memory card reader sometimes uninserts and reinserts memory cards by its self probably because it's second hand... anyway, the problem is i bought a new kingston MMC Mobile 1GB and the phone keeps saying its corrupted. i cant format it with the phone because it says its corrupted. it doesn't change anything when I format it with the pc and then try again. it works in my computer mmc reader and works in the phone if its in the phone before i turn it on but disconnects after half a minute! please help me, im desperate!
