I just picked up a spare battery for my N95, and was looking into potential charging solutions. Of course, I could just charge it in the phone, but my girlfriends camera has an external battery charger (you can charge the battery without the camera), so I was wondering if something similar was available for Nokia batteries.
I came across the Twin Desktop Charger for n95 on several sites. It claims to be able to charge the phone and a spare battery at the same time. Does anyone have one of these? Is it any good?
I am slightly concerned about battery cut-off - I keep reading different views in different places. Some people say the battery has it's own cut-off, others say it is the n95 which decides when the battery is full. :con?

There is a big battery thread here somewhere,
http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum//forum/thread/63260/ and I have posted photos of my bulging battery where dual desktop charger decided to charge the battery for 6hours while I was sleeping (stayed red the whole time, typically it went to green after a while). Luckily this was the cheap chinese rip-off battery that got damaged and not my original Nokia one!
I would say with LiIon charging that the smarts are definitely in the phone. That desktop stand does not have enough smarts in it to properly charge a battery. It is ok to do a quick top up (but does it pulse charge which perhaps the phone does to the battery? Or constantly trickle charge?? Who knows? I trust the Nokia Phone to do the charging, not a $2 desktop stand).
