Have used nokia phones now for many years but spent a little time with 2 motorolas (V3 and KZRZ) but have come back to nokia with the N95. One thing I did like about the motorolas was that if I had a txt or missed called call it would beep every so often to remind me.
Is there any way to get the nokia to do this?

No such built-in feature (and if there was, I'd think it to be very annoying), but possibly separate apps. Check the software section: http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/software/
