I Updated the latest firmware when it came out. I restored (which I am no aware) my contacts, messages and calender enteries from my backup using Nokia PC Suite.

Could this cause issues?

I use Advanced Device Lock to passpord protect my apps and is always running in the background.

If I reinstall the firmware and format memory card.
How would it be advisable to install my apps, restore contacts, messages and calender enteries?

It's OK to SYNCHRONIZE using PC Suite, but don't do a RESTORE after upgrading FW.

So how do I get my text messages and Callender Eteries back?
Also when I Synchroize, that would be through Outlook express I would assume? (I dont have outlook installed on my pc)

You have to sync with some PIM, contact manager or email software. Outlook will do!
If you have done an upgrade you lost your text messages.
Next time go into messages/settengs/other and change the mem used to card and this will give you the option to copy all messages. then set the mem back to phone. Do this regularly or at least just before an upgrade and your texts will be saved!

Why it is that I cant change messages to be save to memory card from phone memory?
I get 'server busy" error msg when I do this.

You should NEVER restore a BACKUP after Firmware upgrading or de-branding.
There's no need to reformat the memory card, but I would format the internal memory to cure your problems. (*#7370#)
