I often visit sites where "Cameras are stictly prohibited".
But unlike a few years ago, when I ask the host or person in reception (regarding the camera built into my phone), the reply has always been just don't wave it about in people faces or anything and you should be fine...
So I think Nokia probably have the balance right on this one. A few years ago it was a big issue, these days you are usually ok as long as you are sensible.
