is your 3uk n95 missing the wlan scanning off on active desktop

i have 3 n95,s 1 sim free 1 locked to tmobile and 1 3uk n95 both tmobile and sim free have on the front screen wlan scanning off where as the 3uk doesnt have that does anyone elses 3 uk n95 have this issue or is there a menu to enable it
