I have tried searching the forum for this problem, but to no avail.
Last week, I switched my Vodafone voicemail service so that it is now linked to Vodafone Mail (in the UK), rather than standard consumer voicemail. One positive consequence is that my voicemail indicator started to work (previously, I only received an SMS to alert to a voicemail).
However, this morning, for no apparent reason, neither the voicemail icon nor my regular text icon appear anymore. The text indicator does show up when the phone is in standby, but no longer at the top of the screen when in active mode. I have tried a soft reset, but this did not work. I was thinking a hard reset might do the trick, but didn't not want to go through that pain unless I needed to.
Has anyone encountered this before? If so, how did you fix it?
