Deleting Nokia Maps files

Hey, i wanna free up some space on my memory card, so wanna delete the Nokia Maps - keeping the program.

I cant seem to find the files on the memory card though, i have a 1gig card that was preloaded with the maps. I have 500mb free, 500mb used, but i can actually only find 50mb of files on my memory card, so 450mb worth of maps are on the card

Tried Nokia Map loader to delete, but it just says "deleting" for ages

Search this forum. It's described somewhere (sorry, tired now, no energy to look it up for you...). It's in a subfolder to "Private" (you'll have to connect phone in "mass storage" mode and select "include hidden" in XP I believe to see the folder and any of the subfolders of course. Have caution, sub folders in "Private" are used by other applications as well so you have to find the correct one.
However, there isn't any "understandable" naming of the subfolders (...like "UK" or some..) so you have to delete all maps if you're unable to use "Delete" in Nokia Map Loader application.

Nokia Maps is made up of thousands of small files (maybe tens of thousands). Deleting therefore takes ages, regardless of doing it thru mass storage or the Nokia Maploader app.
So just let the maploader app do it, and wait (and wait!)
