Running and Sport Tracker

Tried sport tracker for the first time today and it worked brilliantly with the N95 GPS even though I was running through pretty heavy woods in areas. The only issue I had was I had to carry my phone in my hand as I wasn't sure where to keep it.

The question I have is does any one else run with their N95 and does it still get a signal in a rucksack or have you worked out another way to carry it?

Thanks

I ride a motorbike and I have had the gps running on trip distance with it in my pocket with the slider shut.

Thats after the 10 min fag break whilst it works out where I am first!

LOL!

I put it with the keypad open in the clear pocket of my tank bag. I found that if I kept it in my pocket it had me cutting massive (300 yard) corners & trekking through fields & gardens on the motorbike!!

But walking to work it tracked me perfectly when in the pocket.

I guess the faster you go, the less likely it is to give good results in the pocket.

Maybe I'd better trade down the Hayabusa 😉

i find it takes time to lock a signal but once the signal is there, it grabs hold of it very well. if the signal does get lost (ie if youre going through a tunnel, it catches it again quickly when you are in te open again.

This is with Route66 by the way. I assume if using internal GPS then should have same affect on all.

I struggled to read that quote without laughing - but I have the same problem when I have run with my N95. Anyone got a decent (and clean) suggestion?
