Slept in til 8am this morning instead of 6.30..! :frown:

The problem of the Alarm not sounding when the phone is off seems to have reappeared with the latest N73 firmware.

It was cured at 4.0726* but seems to be back. Anyone else suffering?

Nope no joy.

To be honest I'd be worried if it had worked second attempt.
A sporadic problem is worse than a consistent one.

Tried it several times and still get the old problem of booting up to the battery indicator but the phone/alarm doesn't come on.

You sure you're on an N73 with the latest f/w?

What is the latest firmware your using?

Since upgrading my N73 ME to v4.0727.2.2.1 I've now noticed the alarm clock doesn't work when the phone is turned off (ie it fails to switch the phone back on when it should). The alarm also appears to disappear from the set time when you turn the phone off and on again.

I'm going to get on to Nokia about this as I use the alarm almost everyday and overslept myself on Friday morning! I'd like to rollback the firmware to 3.07 if I can, would a Nokia Service Centre do this for me?

Firmware on my N73ME is same as yours V4.0727.2.2.1.
Set the alarm, turn phone off. Alarm sounds at correct time, click stop & message pops up 'Switch phone on ?'.
Set alarm, turn phone off. Turn phone on again, preset alarm is still there waiting.
Have never been to a Nokia Service Centre so dont know if they can 'rollback' the firmware. Perhaps someone else can help there.
The phone doesnt remember the alarm setting. You have to reset it each time.
