TV-OUT Resolutions

i have a full hd tv and the quality shownd by the tv out is really poor.

im sure it outputs everything in VGA res (640 x 480)

no it doesnt. output is all 320x240 no matter what.

It does still look good on older CRT based TVs but LCD or Plasmas look really crap with the phone attached. (due to high contrast and pixel clarity)

Not all output. The gallery photos are displayed at their full resolution and I think videos are played at their full res too.
